I am BACK in South Africa!!!
I know this is technically already week 8 of my project 52, but last week, week 7, we landed in South Africa, went to our new home directly from the airport, was asleep early every night, did not have internet access and had to unpack all our stuff. Well, we are still busy unpacking!
So for week 7, the week we arrived home, I decided to do a collage of a few photos of my surroundings in Kleinmond in the Overberg! These awesome fynbos is 50m from my front yard and this view is what I look at when I drink my Western Cape red wine on my balcony!
Blessed beyond measure and so happy that I wanted to celebrate by using colours, texture and lots of photos!
I’ve been coming to Kleinmond for holidays since I was just a few weeks old, so this place is very close to my heart! I’m from a small town too, so living in the platteland in the countryside is just what we wanted and love about this place! And in our first week here we’ve met some awesome locals and friendly people from the area, we couldn’t be happier!
With these photos I played with very shallow depth of field and my most favourite way to shoot landscapes – vertical!
