We are 10 weeks into 2014! During these 10 weeks we’ve been in the Philippines, in Korea, said good bye to good friends and ‘Korean family’, packed up our whole life in Korea, flown half way across the globe back to South Africa, landed here and continued packing (this time out), went to our farm to get our house stuff, experienced true Western Cape heat again, walked bare foot on the beach, braaied with family and friends, had looooong chats and kuiers with old friends, met wonderful new people and now we’re finally settling in here in our home country… Or it is starting to feel like it.
This week I got to photograph a beautiful baby girl. My heart is happy when I can photograph babies, kids and families.
So I decided to use this cool perspective shot for week 10 of my project 52.
During my whole project 52 so far I’ve captured something specific for each week, something that happened during that particular week and that stood out to me to be included in this project. And this week, this photo just stood out.
I love the perspective here, the focus on the hands with the busy baby feet in the background. It is perfection, perfect baby, perfect moment captured.
